As I collect interesting pizza links, I’ll post them here.
This is the site that inspired me to start the Syracuse Pizza Blog:
Rochester NY Pizza Blog
I grew up in Ithaca, and had my first pizza there at about age 12 (at Roma (R.I.P.), which now lives on at Sal’s): http://www.ithacapizzareview.com/

Hi there. I’m a kostas fan and a pizza fan. I’ve known Kosta now for about 6 years and tell people he’s the hardest working guy I know and makes a good pizza! I’ve come to know him and his family and often chat with them at the local library with my kids. I was wondering kostas tonight and forgot the number and saw your site as I googled the number!
I was saddened because I have contemplated doing a blog too on Pizza and you have done a nice job. Now because you do not have a patent on it I will create my own UNLESS you have me meet you out one day for a pizza
). I enjoy my pizza but keep it simple. If you are ever looking for a pizza fan to tag along let me know, I’d be glad to for a review. I’ll have to tell my wife about it.
Take care
Kevin
My Faves are Kostas and and OIP (Eastwood) N. Syracuse one has disappointed. Have to Try the place in B’ville now!
Nice Rochester one, I travel there with the family to go to the Strong Museum and we usually spend a night at the homewood suites. I’ll check out a place. One thing I don’t look forward to is a Vacation in Disney World…I’ve heard there is not a single decent pizza shop in Disney…Nothing good is what people say. there is hopes for a new pizza shop at Epcot. Try OIP again, I usually have good luck but cath the wrong chef or time of day and??? but usually good, I love their sausage, nice lil’ spice to it and delicious. and the wings too. If they EVER changed their sausage I’d probably stop going!
Nice site (Ctrl +D) !! You seem to be from my side of town and even know some of those lesser known places that have been around for years. Keep up the good work and the un-biased reviews.
This is not an official pizza review page to me unless you review a Twin Trees Pizza from any location. Hit me up and I will even buy on a Saturday! (I am serious)
My favorite was always Frogger’s Pizza on Rte 5 which I know has changed from when I last went there about 5 years ago.
And there is a little hidden gem called DiBello’s in Western Lights plaza you might want to try out, too.
Thank you for the comments! I’ve been to Twin Trees (2 locations) and DiBello’s this past week, so the reviews will be posted soon.
